Your Country Neighbor is a community-focused publication dedicated to local stories, rural life, neighbors helping neighbors, and the heartland spirit. If you’re looking for inspiration, connection, and real-life country content, you’re in the right place.

2. Subscriptions

Your Country Neighbor and this website are free. We do not offer subscriptions at this time.

Printed copies of the current issue may be found in many fine businesses throughout Southeast Nebraska, Papillion, and Rock Port, Missouri.

4. Can I request a topic or story?

Yes. Thoughtful suggestions are welcome.

5. Can I submit my own story?

Yes. Please paste your article into an email and include your name and permission to publish. I copy and paste faster than I type.

Writers are volunteers due to the expense of printing and delivery.

6. Can I submit my own photo?

Your Country Neighbor also serves as the publisher’s photo gallery. Photo submissions are accepted only in special circumstances.

7. Advertising & Media Inquiries

If you’re interested in advertising placements, sponsorships, or media partnerships, email the publisher and we’ll discuss options and discounts. General pricing appears on page 10 of the printed paper.

8. Reader Support

If you’d like to help cover printing and production costs, you may do so via PayPal--coming soon.

Payments are voluntary and help offset the cost of producing and printing Your Country Neighbor, and maintaining this website.
